My son and I are big fans of LEGO games, as well as the saga of star wars - of course the original trilogy (we still like episodes I-III as much, but the latest trilogy is **** :().

Otherwise, the game is a fun LEGO game, but just meant to be played on any other system you can play on.

If you're okay with graphics from over a decade ago, and don't mind a few crashes, long load times, and occasionally choppy game play, go ahead and get it. Numerous crashes to home screen, and very choppy game play in larger areas. I really wish I had purchased this game on any system other than the Switch. Numerous I'm glad to see they are able to port PS3 games over to the Switch! Wait, they didn't? Oh, LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga is new? Ah, well, perhaps they made this game look like a PS3 game on purpose? I mean, I know the Switch has to cut corners here and there, but this is a bit embarrassing for Nintendo.

The entire time I felt like I was just walking from cutscene to cutscene … Expand Pros: -Tight and fun gunplay/Light Saber controls -Writing and visual gags are very funny -Graphics can be gorgeous at times -Massive open world (if you are into that) -INSANE amount of characters Cons: -No character customization -Actual levels are short and boring -The open world feels very empty -Character upgrades are superficial and don't really matter much -Cutscenes are waaaay too long and too numerous -UI is janky, laggy, and overwhelming TL DR: Just play complete Saga. Falls victim to the "open world" industry standard. Actual levels Fun game but not as strong as previous Lego installments.
